The Museum of the Double was established in 1995 by Julia Dzwonkoski and Cal Clements as a collection of artifacts, all of which fit the description:
Two where there should be one
Our curatorial interests include twins, fakes, decoys, copies, things with two heads, shadows, crossbreeds, replicas, dual purpose instruments, forgeries, coincidences and substitutes, and items exhibiting extreme symmetry or redundancy.
